Terms of Service

Last updated: May 6, 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by ColoRamp ("ColoRamp", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website, Figma plugins (Pigment Lab and Code Hub), and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ColoRamp provides design tools for color management and design token workflows, delivered as Figma plugins:

  • Pigment Lab — A color palette generator with harmony modes, intent colors, and Figma Variables synchronization.
  • Code Hub — A design token export tool for generating structured JSON, configuring code syntax, and exporting Figma styles and variables.

The plugins operate primarily within Figma's environment. Plugin-created content such as palettes, templates, settings, and design tokens is stored locally in your Figma files. The ColoRamp website and related backend services provide account authentication, subscription billing, entitlement checks, and related services.

As part of the Service, we may send short product onboarding emails after signup to help you understand and use core features. These onboarding emails are distinct from account, security, and billing communications.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account by signing in through Figma OAuth. By doing so, you authorize us to access limited information from your Figma account, including your name, email address, profile picture, and Figma user ID.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@coloramp.ch if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You can opt out of product onboarding emails at any time through the unsubscribe link in those emails. Account, security, and billing messages remain unaffected because they are essential for operating your account and subscription.

5. Subscriptions and Pricing

5.1 Free and Paid Plans

ColoRamp offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free plans provide limited access to features. Paid plans unlock additional functionality and are available in monthly or annual billing cycles. Current pricing is displayed on our website.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and we will notify you in advance.

5.2 Billing and Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not store your credit card details. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe.

5.3 Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the applicable subscription fee at the beginning of each renewal period.

5.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on the ColoRamp website. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free plan.

5.5 No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused features, or plan downgrades. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at legal@coloramp.ch.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by ColoRamp and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including color palettes, templates, design tokens, and exported files. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.

Plugin data (palettes, templates, settings) is stored locally in your Figma files. Account, authentication, subscription, and billing data may be processed by the ColoRamp website and backend services as needed to provide the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ColoRamp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to ColoRamp in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion. Plugin data stored locally in your Figma files will not be affected by account termination.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by providing notice through the Service or via email.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Governing Law

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ColoRamp regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
